Emma Ruth Rundle Omaha Concert reviews
Gary Allan at his peak!!!
It was a hot evening weather wise at Riverbend Music Center and when Emma Ruth Rundle took the stage it made a beautiful evening into a beautiful one!!! Emma is at the top of her game and she proved it tonight. The crowd NEVER sat down although not singing as loudly as I thought to the sing along songs. There are songs that are very close to Emma's heart and you could tell by the way she put her whole heart into them when singing them. "It's Not Always Beautiful." was the first one and the second one being "Life Ain't So Bad." It was like you were feeling exactly what she was. She packed the show with so many hits and sang them just like she recorded them except for one which she went acoustic with which I'm not sure the fans agreed with. the song "Right Where I Need To Be.' I personally would like the upbeat version of that myself. That really gets the crowd rockin. Otherwise my only criticism would be to tell Emma to eat a sandwich she's looking a little thin these days. If she doesn't start playing bigger venues and selling them out I would say America has a hearing problem. I would say Emma Ruth Rundle is at her peak and is heading to the very top. She has her own voice not a sound alike and her own style to her music. My favorite part of the show was the song "The One" when the band stepped up to the front of the stage with a few instruments while Emma sang a soft version with them backing her up. What a great blast from the past.
